Flip Mino HD Review

The latest Flip Mino HD has improved from its predecessor and certainly looks the sexiest in the Flip Camcorder range. Capacity has improved along with a new 2 inch 960 x 240 pixel screen and HDMI capability so you can view your videos on HD TV (although you’ll need to buy a HDMI cable).
The Mino HD weighs in at a slender 116g and measures 100 x 50 x 16.7mm making it top choice in the size stakes.
The internal battery (chargeable via USB) will give you around 120 minutes of video capture (1280 x 720 resolution at 30 frames per second; 16:9 widescreen) on 8 GB of built-in memory with finished video clips produced in MPEG4 format.
Like other Flip Video camcorders, MinoHD offers a simple user interface with one-touch recording, making it easier and more fun than ever to take HD-quality video. It has a compact body that is nice and comfortable to hold and easily slips into your pocket. On the front side is the lens with the microphone on the right-hand side which lights up in red when in recording mode.
There is still an issue with there being no anti-shake and stabilization device to prevent wobbly looking video footage but the Mino HD is the top choice if you're after sleekness and portability. The bulkier Ultra HD is a larger model but offers slightly better color vibrancy, replaceable batteries and longer record time.
